The Brantford Rotaract Club set out to raise money to supply the Why Not Youth Centre with $1000 worth of peanut butter, which will provide food supplements to youth in need for a half a year.  Why peanut butter?  It's relied upon globally as a ready-to-use therapeutic  food that requires no cooking/utilities with enough nutrient and energy for those in need.  The Rotaract club already has their next community project underway ... click on See More for details and for contact information.  Thank you to the Brantford Rotaract Club and all of the community supporters that helped them to reach the $1000 goal.
Below is a note directly from the Brantford Rotaract Clubs President, Joel Dzuba:

The Brantford Rotaract Club would like to send out a huge thank-you to everyone in the community who supported their efforts and helped them collect over $1,000 worth of peanut butter for the local Why Not Youth Centre on Colborne Street. The donations are more than enough to help the Why Not Youth Centre provide food supplements to youth in need for the next half year. Special mention to the staff and customers of Luciani’s Pizza, who donated $100 for the cause!

Why peanut butter of all things? Believe it or not, peanut butter is relied upon globally as a ready-to-use therapeutic food that requires no cooking/utilities while providing enough nutrients and energy to support those in need. The versatility and accessibility of peanut butter makes it a product high in demand for food banks and disaster relief efforts!

The Rotaract’s next community project is to help raise resources to provide those in need the support to help them continue (or start!) their education! The club is always looking for members of the community, between the ages of 18-30, who are interested in helping out and volunteering. If this might be something that interests you, please reach out to acting Rotaract Brantford president Joel Dzuba at joeldzuba@rogers.com

“Thank you again Brantford! We look forward to helping this wonderful community grow!”
